Early Years
Our diversity is our strength, and we celebrate this in our classrooms and also through events we put on.

Our Early Years is made up of children and teachers from different countries and cultures and this makes learning at St. Andrew’s an exciting and worldly setting.
Our Early Years department runs from Toddlers to Reception (approx. 18mth to 5yrs) with Reception forming the first official year of schooling under the English system. Children are placed in the following classes based on their age on the 1st of September when our academic year starts.
Toddler: +18mths
Pre-Nursery: 2yrs turning 3yrs old
Nursery: 3yrs turning 4yrs old
Reception: 4yrs turning 5yrs old

FAMILY CENTRE
We are incredibly lucky to have St. Andrew’s Family Centre adjoining our Early Years and this provides invaluable information and support to our children and families. This support includes information, individualised support plans, counselling services, nanny training, and parent workshops.
We also offer 1:1 and small group support in our Family Centre during the school day for children who may benefit from this.

We pride ourselves on being inclusive and accepting of all. We work with our Special Educational Needs Department to cater for any children who require additional support. We have a visiting speech and language therapist and are also willing to work with any existing therapists your child may be seen outside of school. We believe our dedication to parent partnership is the greatest way to help our children achieve their potential.

We offer a high staff-to-pupil ratio to ensure that the children all get the highest possible individual attention to aid them in their learning and development.

Being part of an Internationally-accredited school has considerable benefits including high standards of practice, equally high expectations of good outcomes for all children, and an environment where wellbeing is at the centre of all we do. Our learning environment & world class facilities enable us to enrich our curriculum.

On site we have an IT and media suite, large playing fields, a bush school, music department, art and cookery rooms, a large swimming pool and a learner pool. Our Early Years learning curriculum makes the most of all of this on offer.
Another feature of being adjoined to an accredited primary school, is the highly qualified staff body and in-house experts & specialist teachers. As a school we keep pace with developments in international education and ensure through quality continual professional development, that best practice is continually on offer.
